How do some people manage to successful in Hollywood and still keep their anonymity? Some people say that making it in Hollywood means sacrificing your privacy, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for a lot of actors.

People like Tony Shalhoub and Kyle Chandler manage to be very successful, yet aren’t stalked by the paps. The only time you ever see them is when they’re doing an interview for their show or movie. Other people like Britney Spears on the other hand have every insignificant detail of their lives reported on, including the type of coffee they’re drinking.

What is it that causes the celeb news media to focus on certain actors and singers and not others? Is this the work of publicists who fish for the attention? It seems like the more talented and dedicated actors are rarely talked about by celebrity gossip news while the mediocre, fame seekers are everywhere.
